i am currently working on this painting, i call it “pretty birds”. i am trying to take pictures of the process as i work. here i started with my sketch book drawing and transferred it to transparency, to use on my old school overhead projector. the canvas size is 24×36, i love that size, it’s like the perfect proportion.
i have a few projects, portraits actually that i need to be working on for other people, but i have to complete on painting for myself before i’ll feel comfortable moving on. i have wasted my gift this year, and now i feel i am trying to make up for it. well at least i am doing it, right?
here is where i am now, updates coming.
